The more I practice, the luckier I get! Florida Scramble Format

The Florida Scramble is the typical scramble with a twist: one player on your team sits out each shot. Each player on the team tees off. The best of the four shots is selected and the player who hit it, doesn’t get to play the next shot. All other players move their balls to that spot and play their second shots. The best of the second shots is selected, all players move their balls to that spot and play their third shots; and so on until the ball is holed.

Outdrive Your Competition – fore a good cause!

Mulligans “Do-overs” - Sold at registration. May be used anywhere on the course with the exception of holes #4, #6, #10, #15.

Tee Busters “Men play from the red tee” - Sold at registration. May be used anywhere on the course with the exception of par 3 holes.

Skill Prizes - Eight prizes in all including team with lowest net, golfer closest to pin.

The Pride of its “Fore” Fathers

St. Barnabas Fall Classic is an 18-hole golf tournament dating back to 1988 when William V. Day gathered friends and supporters to raise money for St. Barnabas Free Care Fund... and have a little fun!

The Fall Classic is held at the top-rated Butler Country Club golf course that plays 6,708 yards and is easy to walk with very few hills. At a par 70, it is an enjoyable course and offers an interesting and unique experience each round.

The course has a USGA rating of 73.1 with a slope rating of 132 on Bent Grass. Its original nine holes were created by Tom Bendelow, improvements and the back nine were designed by famed golf course architects Emil Loeffler, John McGlynn, Leonard Macomber, Ed Ault, Ferdinand Garbin and most recently Ron Forse.
