Enables you to contribute directly to free care, equipment and renovations benefiting the patients of St. Barnabas. This employee-exclusive giving program started in 1985 and has paid for more than $398,000 in upgrades to safety systems, common areas and patient rooms and to charity care for impoverished men and women, many who have been turned away by other facilities.
Each year St. Barnabas employees dedicate a portion of their earnings to support this fund — special people helping special people. This example of selfless giving by the staff of caretakers on behalf of the patients they serve inspires donors across the nation to contribute even more to St. Barnabas Charities.

Share Because You Care - Join Coworkers in the Special People Fund
Your donation will boost the St. Barnabas Free Care Fund.
More than ever, patient care needs your support. Medicare and Medicaid and Affordable Care Act cuts reduce the funds that cover nursing and rehabilitative care.
The 2016 Special People Fund Committee suggests that employee donations directed to the Free Care Fund make the greatest impact over a combination of charity care and renovation projects. SPF Free Care Fund donations exceeded $23,000 in 2015.
