A Message from William V. Day

In the 1950s Loraine and I discovered a great song sung by the late Nat King Cole.  He had a beautiful voice and he knew how to deliver a poignant message, which I am sharing with you.

No matter what your age or situation, please smile and remember that God loves you.  And so do I.  Remember the good times.  Thank God for your blessings, your life, your past, your future – no matter how challenging it looks!

Smile

Smile though your heart is aching.

Smile even though it’s breaking.

When there are clouds in the sky, you’ll get by

If you smile through your fear and sorrow.

Smile and maybe tomorrow…

You’ll see the sun come shining through for you.

Light up your face with gladness.

Hide every trace of sadness.

Although a tear my be ever so near.

That’s the time you must keep on trying.

Smile, what’s the use of crying?

You’ll find that life is still worthwhile

If you just smile.

That’s the time you must keep on trying.

Smile, what’s the use of crying?

You’ll find that life is still worthwhile

If you just smile.

God bless,

WVD
